Monster – Anime review

Monster is a TV anime series of 74 episodes long. It was adapted from seinen manga by Urasawa Naoki. It started with Dr. Tenma Kenzou, a brilliant and promising neurosurgeon, who saved a young boy’s life against the director’s orders. That was the start of a headlong plunge into a nightmare, from favoured prodigy to pariah. It cost him his fiance, the privileges and position he had enjoyed in the hospital. When the heads of the hospital were murdered, Tenma became the prime suspect. To complicate matters, the boy he saved appeared to be the murderer.

Moscato D’Asti

I’m not really a ‘wine’ wine drinker. Usually, I prefer port, plum wine and ice wine. However, I do buy wines occasionally. Sometimes for curiosity, sometimes for special family occasions. Sometimes, it’s because the bottle is so pretty.

However, when it comes to drinking wines, I am no connoisseur. In fact, I find most wines horrible. It’s either too sour, too harsh, salty, bitter or just unpleasant. Romance genre and me

There are times, especially in my teens, when I wondered why my peers were so fascinated by romance stories. Paperbacks like Sweet Dreams, Harlequin, Mills & Boons were passed and exchanged. I tried one, only because the summary says the story was set in mysterious Egypt. Needless to say, I found it mildly entertaining and of no consequence. Read the rest of this entry »
